Some 400 participants from 30+ countries will descend on NYC September 23-25, for the ninth Performing the World conference: “Can We Perform Our Way to Power?” Confirmed headliners include medical clown and social activist Patch Adams, psychologist Kenneth Gergen, former mayor of Bogota, Colombia, Anantas Mockus, and professor of performance studies, Richard Schechner.
