Bio:

As a development specialist and founder/owner of Improv Alchemy, Lainie Hodges uses the power of play and performance to create environments where people can grow and develop personally and professionally. Her work in various public school systems, criminal justice, professional athletics, government agencies, and private business leverages everyone’s unique talents and abilities to make them more innovative, agile, and responsive. Clients also learn how to communicate more effectively, gain skills to handle life’s challenges creatively, and experience a deeper understanding of themselves and others.

Lainie was awarded a BS in Health and Exercise Science from Syracuse University, an MLS in Global Affairs from the University of Denver, completed coursework for an MA in Sports Counseling from the San Diego University for Integrative Studies, and is a graduate of the Eastside Institute 2017-2018 International Class. She is also a teaching artist for Think 360 Arts for Learning in Denver, CO. She trained in improvisation at the Magnet Theater (NYC), Grafenberg Productions, and Improv LEAP (Denver).

Lainie is also a member of the All Stars Alliance as the Director of the Denver Talent Show Network. With the support of her talented volunteers, they’ve produced three talents shows in the Denver area with funding from Rose Community Foundation and the Denver Foundation’s Arts Affinity Group. They look forward to growing the program in 2019 and beyond.
