Bio:
I am licensed psychologist and psychotherapist, MSc. in communication. Coming from the Republic of Macedonia, currently living and working in Skopje. Professionally, I am practicing psychotherapy, counseling and psychoeducation at Psihoterapika- Association for psychology and psychotherapy. Privately, I am sharing my life with a wonderful husband, incredible and life-changing daughter, and a dog.
In my experience in civil and academic sector until now, I have organized many projects related to community and youth empowerment, as well as participated in and conducted many training programs within formal and informal education with teachers and youth as well as professionals related to the topics of participation, presence, awareness, empowerment and embodiment.
In Psychotherapika I am collaborating with other psychotherapists and professionals where we integrate various and applicable tools and methodologies of work with different communities in need. At the moment, in our practice we integrate socio-therapeutics, body-oriented approach, play therapy, carrier development and communication, as well as developing family and parental coaching and communication and support groups.
Beside our basic psychotherapy service, we are developing our community program called Psychotherapy on the Margins, where psychotherapy is an essential tool for empowering the community to grow and develop, as well as the psychoeducation program “Unwind the yarn” where the various communities are introduced with various mental health issues and practices as well with the role of psychology and psychotherapy in addressing those issues. With that we try to demystify and start conversation with communities about some persisting mental health conditions.
I am also very active in the field of promotion of profession of psychologist and psychotherapist, as of organization of Days of Psychology, a project of the chamber of Psychologist of Republic of Macedonia, where I am member of the Executive board. At the moment, I am also engaged as a trainer of basic gestalt psychotherapy education of basic group of the Gestalt Institute Skopje.
My relation to ESI Institute started in 2008 when I was accepted as international class member of the generation 2008-2009. I had an uplifting experience then, a contact with very inspirational and grounded practitioners from which I have learned a lot and practice until now. It gave me an immerse confidence in doing my work as I am doing it today. So, my contact with ESI is alive more than ever, and becoming one of the most recognizable foundations of my work and myself. In 2018 I joined ESI at the online training about Social therapeutics, as well as with my contribution to PPLG Conference in Thessaloniki, where I conducted a workshop titled: “Performing resilience through movement”.
