Fred NewmanLa terapia social no se parece en nada ala terapia tradicional y, al mismo tiempo, es muy parecida a ésta. La gente viene a nosotros buscando ayuda emocional, que es, por supuesto, por lo cual también van a otros terapeutas. Si un terapeuta -cualquiera- es afectuoso y sensible, como lo son muchos, las personas se conmueven y responden, ellas decidirán ir con el terapeuta aun sabiendo muy poco acerca de lo que es terapia. Lo que es bueno acerca de la terapia es que le llega a las personas y las conmueve de una manera humana y piadosa. La
